Mrs. Johnson
Welcome to English I! Have you listened to the lyrics in the song "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield? In the song Natasha sings: "Speak the words on your lips. Drench yourself in words unspoken. Live your life with arms wide open. Today is where your book begins. The rest is still unwritten." This is what I ask of you-no one but you can state what you are thinking or feeling. Your book is still unwritten. Write! Share! Express! Write some more!

Helen Keller inspired me because she overcame her disabilities and turned them into unique abilities. She made me see that if she can become all that she became while she was deaf and blind, what can I be later on in life if I can see and hear. I was thinking "can I do better?" Helen was able to spiritually see what others are blind to. I think in some ways humanity is even more disabled than Helen Keller was, which is sad but I see it as something that we can, over time, overcome. I want to see like Helen Keller saw and learn what she learned.
Helen Keller inspired me in many ways. She has a famous quote "When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been open for us." This quote is true. People are always in situations that are not always good, but what is the worst part is that they don't know how to get around the situation, and look at the bright side of it. Helen was blind and deaf and still found a happy place. This tells me anything is possible.
Helen inspired me to be strong. Helen was blind and deaf, but she pushed through. If she can accomplish her goals with these disabilities, then so can I.
Helen Keller's story inspired me to live to the fullest and be thankful for what I have.
Helens Kellers story inspired me because she tought me that I can achieve my dreams and goals no matter how difficult it is. Annie struggled with teaching Helen the basic things of life.
Helen Keller's story truly inspired me. I was actually quite amazed by many of her accomplishments. She makes me believe that anyone can reach their goals as long as they set their mind to it because she went as far as learning to talk when never even hearing a voice.

Helen Keller's story was a very exciting story. Annie was an extremely determined lady and she although it took a while, she taught Helen how to communicate and to be disciplined. Helen learned that everything has a name and she eventually could talk perfectly was if she didn't have any disabilities. Having disabilities grew to be and advantage for her. I was very inspired by Helen's story.
The Helen Keller story, which inspires most, has also inspired me. Even though she was blind and deaf, she looked at her disability not as a disability but as an ability, to do things others can't. What inspired me most about Helen was her perseverance. Living in darkness and silence is an unimaginable state of being and she found contentment. In all that has been said this is why Helen is inspiring to me.
In the story of The Miracle Worker, Helen insprired me to realize that we should all try to make the best of evrything in life. It doesn't matter how bad the situation is, you need to be able to understand that everything has a good and bad meaning to it. If you want to make the best of evrything, this quote might help you understand better. "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even felt. They must be felt with the heart." This means that you can't feel or see evrything with your eyes. You need to be able to learn how to feel and see with your heart. If you do that, you'll have a happier life.

Hellen Keller inspired me with her quote, "When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." For what reason she did is because she is saying that we should not keep our sight on the malicious; to hold yourself while one opportunity is within reach.

Helen Keller's story inspired me to not take the things I have for granted. Helen Keller was blind and deaf, I can't imagine the struggles she fought through. This story made me want to not give up when things get hard, maybe to even become a better person and help the disabled people in the world. (:

Helen Keller's story inspired me because it shows that people can be strong even if they are a little different. Helen was trapped in a dark world that was very different from what we know, and though it was a struggle, she made it through and showed people that she was just as capable as anyone else. Keller's story is also inspiring because it teaches people to cherish what they have and appreciate the good things in life rather than looking at the negative side of things all the time.
Helen Keller's story was very inspiring to me. It makes me feel that I can do whatever my heart desires. Helen lost her ability to see and hear as a child. If Helen could achieve all the things she did, I know I can achieve whatever I set my mind to. All you need to achieve your dreams is the will power, just like Helen had.

Helen's story inspired me by all the great accomplishments she had. Helen's teacher Annie never gave up on her and believed she could do anything she set her mind to. Annie treated her disability as an ability to teach others and to teach herself that anyone can be taught.

Helen Keller's story inspires me because even though she was blind and deaf she still had a hunger to learn and she accomplished many things in her life, dispite her disabilities. Her story also inspires me because she was a very strong person to do the things she did. That makes me see you can achieve anything if you want it bad enough.

Helen Keller's story inpired me in many ways. The way she has managed to make it through life being deaf and blind just amazes me! She was a guest speaker and she communicated by using her hands. Helen's story also makes me think about the people who don't have a specific sense, or lack a certain need. They don't have the ideal life that everyone wishes for, but they still need to focus on the better qualities in life!!:)

Helen Keller's story inspired me in a very special way. Helen accomplished many things that blind people could not. She inspired me to be an individual and to set my own path. She inspired me to do something that will be remembered forever and will stay in history as something amazing.

Helen Keller is an inspiration to me because despite her disabilities she managed to make a success of her life. She is proof that no matter who you are or where you come from you can have a do something with your life.
